What are your MOQs?

Our 1,000-unit MOQ lets emerging brands launch without overcommitting — and gives established brands a low-risk path to test new SKUs.

Can you source packaging? 

Yes, we can help you source packaging through one of our packaging partners. Though sourcing your own custom packaging will be the most cost efficient.

Shipping Policy

We will prepare all shipments according to your requirements. We are unable to oversee and book shipments, but will work closely with your freight company. 

Can you pack out for Amazon FBA?

Yes, we specialize in Amazon FBA shipments and can prepare finished goods with FNSKU labels and FBA carton labels. 

What are your payment terms?

For initial orders, we bill for a 50% deposit upon PO receipt to source raw materials and schedule production. Please contact us to discuss long-term payment terms.

Formulation

What are your R&D lead times?

Initial samples can be shipped out within 2 weeks of receiving all raw materials. Please allow 1-2 weeks for each revision round.

How many revisions are included in my R&D project?

All R&D projects include an initial round of samples + 2 revision rounds. Additional revisions can be added at $500/round. 

What services are included in your R&D Fee?

R&D fees cover 3 rounds of samples and in-house stress testing to ensure your new formula is ready for stability testing. 3rd-party testing and test method verification costs are not included. 

 

Please note: R&D fees cover raw materials, lab/chemist time, and manufacturing exclusivity for a formula. Formula ownership is a separate cost, if required. Regardless of formula ownership - while you manufacture with us, the formula will be manufactured exclusively for you. See "Who owns the formula?" for more details. 

Who owns the formula?

All formulas tech transferred to us are owned by you. For new formulations developed by us, Formulary Labs initially owns the formula. You may purchase the formula immediately, or ownership can be transferred at no cost after reaching a cumulative manufactured quantity of 100k units. 

What kind of testing can you facilitate?

Through our in-house laboratory and working with 3rd party labs, we offer the following tests:
